Schooner Woodwind Online Reservations
Set sail on the 74-foot, Schooner Woodwind for an unforgettable afternoon of oyster education and scenic beauty. Learn about oyster restoration efforts in Annapolis Harbor with our friends at Live Water Foundation https://livewaterfoundation.org/ , witness a live oyster cage seeding and drop demonstration, a quick learn to shuck presentation and then cruise the Chesapeake Bay while enjoying a couple fresh oysters and local brews. Your ticket includes an oyster shucking knife to take home, two oyster shooters from Tall Timbers including hot sauce and cocktail sauce (additional shooters available for purchase on the Woodwind), and a $10 donation to the Live Water Foundation, making this a fun and impactful experience! Beer, wine, bubbly and a cocktail will be available for purchase as soon as the sails are raised.
Schedule:
- 11:45 Check in at the Dock Office
- 12:00-12:20 Educational portion on dock with the oyster spat going to their new home at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. Live Water demonstration and loading of the oyster cages and why this program is so valuable to the Annapolis Harbor.
- 12:20 Board the Woodwind for a 2-hour cruise
- 12:30-2:30 Sail

- Oyster Shucking Knife inscribed with our favorite brewery, Pherm, who makes our own beer, Seas the Bay IPA.
- Two raw oyster shooters from Tall Timbers (Double T Oyster Ranch) including hot sauce and cocktail sauce

- Live Water representatives to talk all about Oysters and about Oyster Farming on the Bay
- Quick tutorial on how to shuck an oyster while dockside. (All other oysters will be shucked already.)
- More oyster shooters will be available aboard for $2.50
- The bar will open as soon as the sails are raised. Local, craft beer, wine and bubbly available.
- Includes one free soda or water.
